Kenneth Agius, of KA Woodcraft, has been involved in designing products for over thirty years. In 2015, he learnt how to manually process greenwood, inspired mainly by Nordic traditional wood crafting methods, and since then he has been making functional products from salvaged tree branches. He mainly uses traditional hand tools in order to reduce the carbon footprint resulting from processing the wood. The material is selected carefully so that the form of the products follows the fibre direction. The products Kenneth creates invariably bear toolmarks that impart a rustic appearance and tactile sensation.
