Mary Portelli is an established mosaic artist residing in Gozo. Fourteen years ago she started making mosaics and has become so passionate about it, that she made it her goal to promote the joys of this ancient art by participating in various community projects and activities. For several years she specialised in custom-made name plates together with large scale murals such as those found at the Mġarr Harbour in Gozo, near the ferry terminal. Now she is expressing herself through smaller mosaic works of art reflecting her emotions and her passion for nature and the environment.
