Dria nasce a Catania e cresce ad Aci Castello a due passi dal mare che con i suoi colori la influenza in tutto ciò che crea. Comincia a scarabocchiare dalla più tenera età non riuscendo più a smettere. Ogni superficie va bene, non importa che sia carta, legno, vetro o ceramica… Artisticamente si forma come autodidatta e si laurea in filosofia con una tesi sull’arte all’interno dell’industria culturale. Oggi ha un suo laboratorio in cui i suoi personaggi, sirene, marinai, guerrieri e tipi strani le suggeriscono su quale materiale preferiscono essere realizzati per raccontare la loro storia… Dettagli dei suoi lavori sono visibili sul sito FishHouseArt (https://fishhouseart.it)
Dria was born in Catania and grew up in Aci Castello, a stone's throw from the sea which with its colors influences her in everything she creates. She began doodling from an early age and was never able to stop. Every surface is fine, it doesn't matter whether it is paper, wood, glass or ceramic... Artistically she is self-taught and graduated in philosophy with a thesis on art within the cultural industry. Today she has her own laboratory in which her characters, mermaids, sailors, warriors and strange types, suggest which material they prefer to be made of to tell their story...
