Am început să lucrez de mică, am încercat mai multe meșteșuguri, am tricotat, am împletit, am țesut și la război. Îmi amintesc cu mare drag anii copilăriei și alergatul prin lanul de porumb. Atunci când apăreau pănușile la porumb, le împleteam mătasea, mă jucam cu ele, erau păpușile mele. Bineînțeles, aveam și păpuși, le mai confecționam și din pânză. Cu păpușelele m-am întâlnit pe la 30 și ceva de ani, când pur și simplu mi-am imaginat ce aș putea să fac dintr-o pănușă de porumb. Plastic găsim peste tot, dar naturalul este unic. Dumnezeu ne-a lăsat natura așa de frumoasă, iar eu apreciez tot ce a creat. Papușile din pănuși (foi de porumb) vin de pe vremea bunicilor nostri, iar eu pot să folosesc natura și darurile ei - coji de nucă, conuri de brad, flori uscate, surcele miniaturale, sfoară, seminţe, pentru a da viata păpușilor și îngerașilor, coşuleţelor cu flori, tablourilor etc. Culeg porumbul înainte de ploi și îmi aleg singură foile. Foaia de porumb sau pănușa o culeg uscată, o iau cea care învelește porumbul. Cea din exterior se mai degradează din cauza razelor solare. Și în interiorul porumbului pănușile sunt mai albe, la exterior mai colorate. Le început le lăsam așa, colorate natural, apoi la târguri, mi s-au cerut pete de culoare. Părul păpușilor mele este tot din foaie, uneori împletit, alteori lăsat liber. La început foloseam mătase de porumb, dar, în timp, devenea casantă și pica de pe capul păpușii. Vreau ca păpușile mele să fie stabile, trainice, iar fiecare are povestea ei. Eu mă bucur pentru că meşteşugul pe care-l fac cu toată pasiunea şi toată dragostea este apreciat. Nu m-am gândit vreodată să mă îmbogăţesc pe baza meşteşugului meu, fac totul cu pasiune, nu este o afacere. În schimb, mi-am dorit ca lumea să aprecieze tot ceea ce creez. Este un dar pe care l-am descoperit în timp. Ştiu că toată lumea are un dar, pe care dacă nu-l cunoaşte, ar trebui să şi-l descopere. Unii cântă, alţii dansează, eu fac împletituri din pănuși de porumb și obiecte decorative din materiale naturale. Este o terapie pe care o fac, prin tot ce creez. Mă liniştesc şi îmi reîncarc bateriile lucrând.

When the corn husks appeared, I would braid the silk, play with them, they were my dolls. Of course, I also had dolls, but also made them out of cloth. I came across dolls in my 30s, when I simply imagined what I could do with a corn husk We find plastic everywhere, but natural is unique. God left us such beautiful nature, and I appreciate everything he created. Corn husk dolls come from the time of our grandparents, and I can use nature and its gifts - walnut shells, fir cones, dried flowers, miniature corks, string, seeds, to give life to the dolls and angels , flower baskets, paintings, etc. I pick the corn before the rains and pick the leaves myself. I pick the corn leaf or husk dry, I take the one that wraps the corn. The one outside also degrades due to the sun's rays. And inside the corn the cobs are whiter, outside more colorful. At first I left them like that, naturally colored, then at the fairs, I was asked for color spots. My dolls' hair is all sheet, sometimes braided, sometimes left loose. At first I used corn silk, but over time it became brittle and fell off the doll's head. I want my dolls to be stable, durable, and each one has its own story. I am happy because the craft I do with all the passion and all the love is appreciated. I never thought of getting rich based on my craft, I do everything with passion, it's not a business. Instead, I wanted the world to appreciate everything I create. It is a gift that I discovered over time. I know that everyone has a gift, which if they don't know, they should discover it. Some sing, others dance, I make braids from corn husk and decorative objects from natural materials. It's a therapy I do, through everything I create. I calm down and recharge my batteries by working.
